Mike Woodson gets an extension and not an ax......
Ok, well the Hawks had a good postseason, and yes I was excited, but I knew in the end that our playoff run was covering up two huge holes. The first hole was taken care of when Billy Knight stepped down as GM, well fired, ummmm. Billy Knight was a joke, he passed on Chris Paul and D. Williams who are now great point guards in the NBA. His pick of Sheldan Williams was the last straw, but we kept him around. Knight did turn the Williams pick into Mike Bibby, but still Bibby is old. So that hole was fixed, or so I thought, the Hawks decide on Rick Sund, who, are you serious? Rick Sund was picked in 2001 to GM the Sonics to the NBA Championship, he did that all right if the Championship is moving, and the trophy is Oklahoma City. I guess the Hawks want to get out of Atlanta, that is the only thing that this hire tells me, Sund is good at losing franchises, and the owners want out of Atlanta. There had to be someone better than this joker, I mean look at his picture, if I was the owner of a franchise this is not the guy I want running my NBA team, sorry. The second hole was Mike Woodson, and with the smoke and mirrors of the playoffs, Woodson saved his job, but he is one of the worst coaches in the NBA. He definitely has the worst won-loss record, but I think his job was saved because all the blame was put on Billy Knight, can't blame the chef if the food hasn't been shipped to the kitchen. Woodson is a joke, and he acts like a joke on the sidelines, so for 2 more years I have to watch this idiot coach my favorite NBA team. All the Hawks did was make the holes bigger, so that the whole team will collapse and move back to St. Louis or whoever wants a franchise, because our owners are a pack of morons, and they have taken the Hawks and Thrashers down.

I know you love your Hawks. I definelty agree that if they had the chance to get Paul or D. Williams then they probably are stupid. Fat business men in suits that have never even dribbled a ball, Atlanta is a great town for basketball. I think basketball is just losing its flavor some to the bigger sports. Football and Baseball. Your a lot more knowledgeable in this genre than I am, but I feel your pain. They made the playoffs and thats more than any other organization in Atlanta did this past year so far, and thats a good thing. When is the draft by the way?
