College World Series Question???

Who would you least likely want to see come to the plate as an opponent in the 2008 College World Series? Basically, if you are a pitcher - this guy is your nightmare!
1. Miami long ball mashing 1B Yonder Alonzo (1st round pick of the Reds - 7th overall)
2. Georgia's spark plug SS Gordon Beckham (1st round pick of the White Sox - 8th overall)
3. Florida State's Mr. Do Everything C/SS/P/etc. Gerald "Buster" Posey (1st round pick of the Giants - 5th overall)

I'm going to skip around a good bit, so bear with me. The team I would least like to face in the bottom third of the series would be the Phillies. Oh yeah, were talking about College Baseball, and not how the Phillies offense waxed that ass against the Braves in the late innings of all three games this past homestand. Disgusting! But that is a topic for another time. I have to go with my second home town for more than 10 years now and the #2 seed, North Carolina Tarheels. UNC is not getting much hype, even though they swept Coastal Carloina. They have great credentials to back their stuff. Look for them to run through the CWS right to the SHIP. They were at the big dance last year and came up runner-up. If you ain't first, you're last"--Reese Bobby. Mentally, I feel they are tougher than most teams, not to mention smart baseball players, like those GT boys, "RESPECT"--Ali G. They have experienced the big games of the CWS, and are hungry to seal the deal this year. They have one of the best coaching staffs in the country and will be one of the top 10 programs in the nation for years to come. Six players in each of the last two years have been signed in the MLB player draft. Also, 8 out 10 prep stars that had signed national letters of intent to play this fall were signed this year in the draft. The bottom line is they have a team era below 3.00, which is very commendable, especially in the ACC. When our sport, professionally, has gone to the new-era of the long ball, steriods, and packing fans in the seats. A business. It's nice to sit back and watch a game the way it was intended to be played, with real emotion, and players who can't get away with loafing, and that is what you get with college baseball. Its real, and it doesn't matter who your pulling for, you will see the game the way it should be played, and anything can happen. The same rules still apply in this game and "till the end of time"--Tupac. Pitching and Defense win the big games, with clutch two out hitting. Couple names to watch from their squad this weekend are Pitchers: Wooten, Trice, and Warren and OF Fedroff, C Federowicz, OF Williams and INF Seager. As we say in Carolina, GO HEELS!!!
