So Hank Jr is whining about his pitching getting hurt running the bases, first of all it could have happened when he was running poles, etc, pitchers run. He thinks that the NL needs to join the 21st century and drop the DH. I think the AL should drop the DH, what you think about that Hanky boy. Second, If an athlete can't run around the bases, then maybe he is not athlete at all. Finally about Hank, you can go buy another pitcher with a 4.07 ERA, won't be that tough. Go buy two because he was an innings eater, but guess what you can do that because you have an obnoxious payroll. So what you are saying is that since Jair Jurrgens was hurt falling down a flight of stairs that the Chicago Cubs should ban the stairs. Sammy Sosa missed a game because of a violent sneeze, ban sneezing. There are many freak accidents that happen, they are accidents and it is part of the game, just because you are not happy does not mean we have to bow down to your requests. You are a baby, and I hope the Rays and Red Sox keep beating you down.

Hank Jr. May be whining but the one that should be crying is Omar - to fire Willie in the middle of the night - come on - randolph was a good player and a great coach - he wasnt on the field when they collapsed last year - they did that themselves (fighting in the ranks is so bushleague - believe me if they paid me 20 million a year I could get along with anyone!! - whoever he goes to coach for now I will be cheering -
Right on, for no reason should Willie Randolph have been fired, he is a great coach, the players have not stepped up this year....
There are a lot of babies in this game. Anygame!!! I do agree that they should outlaw the DH. If all you can do is hit then go play Softball. Baseball is a game of 5tools (no matter what postiion you play), athletism, plus intangibles, and I would like to see a more level playing field. It is an entirely different game as far as the coaches and their in game decisions are concerned. It is a sluggfest in the AL, a show, and has not nearly as much strategy involved. I will always be a supporter of the NL, its real!!! I also agree with linda on this one. Willie was good players manager with class, he wasn't the problem, the players are to blame, they get paid to execute, and they didnt. The front office has probably never played the game a day in their life. I feel the front office was to impatient and are looking for instant satisfaction, and baseball doesn't work that way. Oh yeah, Its NY though. Honestly, never liked them.
