Everyone now knows that during the 2008 MLB season Ken Griffey Jr. hit his 600th career homerun... but did you also know Torii Hunter hit his 200th, Richie Sexon hit his 300th, Chipper Jones hit his 400th and Manny Ramirez hit his 500th?
All of this in the same season, and all before the MLB All-Star break! Think about it... Pro

Good fact Pro!!!
5 hall of famers in one half season. Pretty cool. Well, at least three right now. I feel once you hit 350 your automatically in the fame. I couldn't even imaging being able to be consistent enough to hit 200 or even phathom 600 plus dingers. Unreal. These guys deserve the big bucks, beacause hitting a "bombski", as the pro calls it, is not easy.

I say 3 out of 5 will be HOF's once the dust has settled. Sexon and Hunter will not be inducted. The mark for "The Hall" is probably more like 500 homeruns. Even that doesn't guarantee you ever see Cooperstown (ask Palmeiro and Big Mac). Sosa has 600 career bombs and I'm still not convinced he gets in with ease or at all. Pro
