Hater Alert!!

Yes, it might be a great story, and yes it would be the biggest story in college baseball history, and yes I was happy to see them win their super regional, but guess what I am sick of hearing about Fresno State. I have a real problem with this whole story, starting to think it is a conspiracy. First, Fresno State players look reporters in the eyes and say yes we started out 8-12 this year because we were so focused on getting to Omaha. What? Yeah we at Georgia State started out bad because we made this highly achievable goal about making it to Omaha and winning the College World Series, yeah so it has affected how we have played the first 20 games. Ok, it is ok to have dreams, but this is a little drastic to have blinders on to the world when you make these goals. Fresno hadn't won a regional in forever, yes a regional, which after that you have to win a super regional, and I am pretty sure they have never won a super regional. So how are you as a FSU Bulldog going to think and say that you are going to be the one of the 8 best teams in the country and go to Omaha prior to the season starting when you have no right to say such things. What gave you the idea that all the sudden your team was going to get 110% better and win a regional and super and then go to Omaha. It is like Western Carolina saying yeah you know what, even though we didn't win a regional last year, I think we are going to make it to the college world series this year, with basically the same team. Yes people make goals, and yes they shoot for them, but there is no way in a sane Fresno player's mind that they really thought they were going to make it to Omaha. If they say they did, than they are lying. Second, their stardom is getting to their heads, if I see the shortstop look into the camera one more time in the dugout I am going to rip his face off. If I hear that Fresno's 3B walks around naked one more time I am going to shoot him in the face, and if I hear about how much they have overcome injuries and patched together a pitching staff with only 24 players I am going to throw up. Guess what, you are only allowed 25 on a traveling roster, stop acting like you are the victim. Coach take your hand away from your mouth, I am beginning to think that you are hiding something, like the fact that you might not have any teeth. Just admit that you are as shocked as we are, and everything will be fine. Finally, I guarantee you that a position player will be pitching by the end of today's game.
