Johnny Miller was asked to apologize for his comments during the US Open on NBC. He referred to Rocco Mediate as "the guy who cleans Tiger Woods pool", and he later said "they can't put a guy named Rocco on the trophy, can they." People complained that he was poking fun at Rocco's Italian heritage. WHAT!!!! If what he said makes you think he is discriminating against an entire race then you need to kill yourself. If that offended you then just do it, go to the Grand Canyon and just jump, the only problem would be that you are so soft that you might not break anything. Please stop this nonsense, why is the US becoming so soft and sensitive. Outside the US, other countries are laughing at how soft we are, it has become a bad trend and it is time to get tough. Stop whining, and grow up!! Stop hugging your tree Al Gore, your house could power over 200 houses for a month, how you like them apples.

I seriously doubt he was taking a shot at the entire nation of Italians, but it does seem to be a little off the wall for someone speaking to a nation of listeners. When you are given a voice, you must first think is this right or is this wrong. I do not think it was wrong for Italians in general, but I do think it was wrong to poke at Rocco and his name. The guy just took the best player ever to his limits. Respect please!

Sansone!!! Mad respect. That is not a racial slur though. We all have heard a lot worse. Its like the lady that said, if anyone was going to beat tiger that they would have to lench him...I dont know, you be the judge. People always like to make something out of nothing, and overreact, take things out of context...but yes, respect was definitely in order for Rocco, he seems like the nicest guy in the world anyways...Rocco and Tiger could care less really!!! They have one of the greatest jobs in the world!!!
Good post thought,
