True, I have not been keeping up with this story, and have kept my distance for a reason, but come on what the hell is going on with Brett Favre. We knew when he retired he would want to come back, so why did he retire. Now he has gotten himself in a he said she said third grade love triangle. I mean for the first time recently Brett Favre actually talked to the front office of the Green Bay Packers. He had been texting them like little Bobby Bennett in third grade texting his girl interest that he met at the McDonalds playground during the summer, and saying do you like me, hee hee.....Then Brett sent a letter expressing his I want to come back but wait, I mean, maybe feelings. For god sake make up your mind, and if the Packers stop acting like the prideful girlfriend whom never last in a relationship because they are unwilling to compromise, but then again this couple sound like third graders fighting. I think what it comes down to is that Brett Favre wants the Packers to beg him back, but the Packers being hurt from his retirement are trying to be mean and show how much Favre had hurt them. Oh yeah we can go on a date but you will be the 2nd of the night, when in reality the Packers know Favre is better than the 2nd date, but they are going to act like they don't need him. Umm you need Brett Favre. So now Brett wants to explore other options/girlfriends and the Packers are like oh wait, Brett is really cool and good at everything, maybe we should let him back in, and that is when pride steps in and says, you bitch he hurt you, you can't let him back in. So that is where I think the Favre/Packers relationship is at this point, and it will be interesting to see what the little girl says when she texts back the answer......

From what I've heard, Brett already has their (her) answer. Basically if Goodell decides to reinstate him then he'll be under contract with the Packers for the final three years of his contract. That's why it's such a big deal, do the Packers want a 12mil backup? They called the bluff and now it's up to Farve. Come back and be a bench warmer, or stay retired.
It would be easy if the Packers gave him the release, but then where does he go? NFC is out of the question, they don't want him leading a team through Green Bay in the Post Season. And there aren't to many AFC teams that are in need this season. I heard one report that he might have a chance with the Redskins, but it's a long shot.
I could go on and on, but that's where it stands.
FAVRE NEEDS TO JUST STAY AT HOME AND LEAVE FOOTBALL ALONE. HE'S WAY PASSED HIS PRIME HE'S GONNA END UP HURT REALLY BAD IF HE CONTINUES TO PLAY...
Favre can still compete and win. He had one of his best years, dont think he can do it like again, but can still get the job done. Top 5 in the league and I would take that. The he said, she said high school drama is a bunch of garbage though. Let him back, but say now that Aaron Rodgers is on board, whoever comes out of training camp better, gets the nod, and can start. Fair game for each player or ask for your release and take your chances elsewhere. Either way, stop bitching, make a decision GB and move forward.
