Corky Miller

Apparently the Braves have found the next Johnny Bench in Corky Miller. Since Brian McCann has been out he has caught 2 of the 3 games against the Cardinals. Did I miss something here or are we catching a 32 year old who career average is .179 instead of some young talent that the Braves might have. Maybe they agree with me that Clint Sammons is overrated, but find another young guy that can catch. This might be a sign that Bobby needs to step aside and let a young guy manage who can play younger fellows. I am pretty sure that when we put Smoltz, Glavine, Hudson, and Chipper on the DL and traded Mark Teixeira for JT Snow that we threw the white flag up, so why is Corky Miller still on the team, oh because Bobby likes him, well isn't that a conflict of interests. If I see Corky Miller catch tonight, I am going to strangle my tv, then throw it down the steps, then take it outside and beat it with my autographed John Smoltz/Marquis Grissom Louisville Slugger, and if that is not enough, take it to a dumpster and turn in on while I watch the side of the dumpster move forward and smash my tv in to little pieces. I like my tv, but I have to make sacrifices, and maybe Bobby should take a page out of my book. Wait, since I like my tv, does that mean it should be the starting catching for the Atlanta Braves? I apologize to Bobby if we are showcasing him for a blockbuster trade.....

Corky Miller is just waiting to breakout... not really, he's awful! I keep hearing on the radio that he doesn't hit for average, but that he has good pop. Seriously? The dude has 8 career homeruns!!! 8!!!

FYI: Mike Hampton has 15(including 7 in one season) and Carlos Zambrano has 14.

Nice stat PRO....hahaha

I could hit and play better than Corky right now. Who did he suck off to get that job...Sorry that was harsh. Glad Sammons is back up. Keep him there!
