Dawgs won't lose 3. And they def. won't lose to ASU. Sorry.

Every year people pick the non-conference upset vs. UGA (Boise State 2005 - blowout UGA win; OK State 2007 - a blowout UGA win). And every year those folks are wrong.

Noba, those games were at home, I can't wait to see how your DAWWGS do against a Dennis Erickson coached team on the road. Also you are comparing Boise State and Oklahoma State to Arizona State, not even close....There is no way that the LSU/Florida back to back games is going to end well for the Bulldogs....The only reason Georgia beat Florida last year was because they had a week off before the game. Matthew Stafford is about to let a lot of people down, sorry.....

There's nothing imposing about playing the Sun Devils in Tempe, AZ, especially when your fans are buying their season ticket packages and will fill 1/3 of the stadium at least.

Losing to either FL or LSU is possible, but they will not lose to both.

You're wrong. And I'll be back here to remind you when that's proven.

Care to put some money on these games, by the way? :-)

Typical Georgia fan with blinders on to the world, thinking that no one can beat them, and the DAWGS are invincible. Arizona State will sell that game out, so you are saying, since their fans don't show up, Georgia is going to beat them, good premise, really? Dennis Erickson recruits athletes, so their goes your advantage. This is a circled game for the Sun Devils, not for Georgia because it is in between South Carolina and Alabama, always a let down to go out of conference once it has started. To be honest I would rather Georgia win the SEC, but I am being realistic. Teams will shut down the running game and force Stafford to beat them, there's the DAAAAWWWGGSS problem. They will lose to LSU and after playing LSU in a tough game, they will have nothing left for Florida. Just a tough schedule for Georgia, bad year to have their best team since 1980. Sorry about your luck....

Dude, I just said the Dawgs could lose to LSU and FL, but not both. I never said we were invincible. I expect 1-2 losses, probably to FL and Auburn.

ASU *IS* a circled game for UGA. It hasn't played a non-conference road game out of the south since the '60s. The "experts" are already lining up to say it will be an upset and UGA will lose. Mark Richt always has his team ready for road games (see below). It's also a prime time ESPN game. If you think the Dawgs will overlook this one, then that just is further support that you write off UGA as a prime-time NCAA program.

Your statement that opponents will shut down the running game and force Stafford to beat them is just idiotic, because no one was able to do it last year after Knowshon took the starting job (FL game).Auburn tried to do it, and not only did Stafford make plays with his arm, but Knowshon eventually broke out second half and we beat them on the ground, too. This year the Dawgs add Caleb King. That young offensive line, coached by possibly the best OL coach there is in Stacy Searls, has a full season and offseason under its belt. Your prediction that all these teams will do what they couldn't do last year when all these guys were less experienced just isn't logical.

But wait, the Auburn thing was probably just because that was a home game, right? Well, that's forgetting that UGA has lost FOUR regular season road games in seven seasons under Richt. One was to Nat'l Champ LSU in 2003, and another was to undefeated Auburn in 2004. UGA has the best road record in the SEC, so this theory that a road game is some sort of boogeyman to UGA just doesn't hold up.

You are free to get personal and write me off as a typical GA fan who doesn't know anything, but I know college football as well, if not better, than you do. So we can discuss this like two fans, or you can resort to those kind of comments. I would think someone trying to get their blog off the ground wouldn't want to antagonize people who visit it and comment...

Joba, never said you didn't know anything, I said that Georgia fans think they are invincible. Also, you don't need to give me stats, etc., I know all that stuff, I watch way too much college football, because it is the greatest 4-5 months of the year. I like arguing and obviously so do you, just in fun....I put the Typical Georgia fan in there to see how much of a Georgia fan you were, Georgia tends to have a lot of bandwagon fans that could not name 3 players, but you are not one of them, so now we can talk like fans and have fun....Again I hope you are right because I would love to see Georgia win.....

No worries..if it gets a little heated, its probably because I'm having a bad day on NCAA 09 on 360! Again!

guys this is what sports are all about - get heated - if you have a passion for sports it will get heated - everybody get in on it - I am usually a GT fan although did pull for the dawgs in the world series - always pull for GA if GT not playing but again this is what it is all about - thanks for a blog where I can ramble - not many out there where a female sports freak can vent
