Dumb trade for the red sox. i mean jason bay is good but he's no manny. pirates probably got the best of this with andy laroche. dodgers get the bat they need but lose defense.

In the long run the Pirates never win! Ask Franciso Cabrera! They got some fringe players at best IMO. None of them are or will be superstars like Manny. I think Boston made out the best in this trade because they lose the clubhouse cancer and get a solid hitter, better defender and all around good guy in Jason Bay. The Pro
I have to say Manny has been the World Series MVP twice. Just saying. Not as a big deal as peeps are making it, but one of the biggest of the year for sure. Lots of good trades. Manny is getting old, and has peeked. The game is getting younger, good pick up for the Red Sox. Outfield is complete for awhile. Solid and consistant player with better D and NO DRAMA. I still favor the Griffey trade the best. Griffey, Thome, Dye, Swisher...Thats nasty...the White Sox are the team to watch...A contender for sure and Griffey is mad hungry for a chance at a ring.
Griffey Jr. cannot play center field.....
I think Manny looked pretty good in his debut, I like how the dodger fans gave him a standing ovation...
