I met this guy back in 2004 during my 2nd minor league off season. He's put together like an NFL runningback and a super nice guy, but if I hear that one more time Mike Hampton is close to returning to the Braves rotation I'm gonna puke! He won't pitch again this year, he probably won't ever pitch in the bigs again. In yet another rehab attempt, Hampton tweaked his groin and had to leave the game. Really? Sounds about right. I can't wait until they can unload him and give another youngster a shot. What a disaster his time in Atlanta has been. He makes more than anyone on the Braves and he hasn't played in over 2 seasons. Everyone already knows all of this, but I'm tired of the "expected returns" he is always supposed to make. How bout this, suprise me next time and just let him start a game at the Ted... oh wait nevermind, he's done! The Pro

Looks like a beast in that pic...who ever his agent is or was is/was on top of his/her game when he signed with the rockies...they are still paying him and he doesnt play. You have to give him credit though for not quitting, he wants to compete, but highly unlikely. I feel bad for the guy...he has to watch and might get an inning then hurts something else...tough break! Bad pick up for the Braves, they tend to do that lately now that Ted Turner has been gone.
I have seen players play with braces - splints - arms hanging off and this guy cant pitch with one "Tweak" after another - i dont feel bad for him I feel bad for us - I agree with the pro - give someone else a shot - but speaking of TED TURNER _ what a hoot - he is one of the best things to come out of Atlanta - wish we had him back - the days of those kinds of owners are over - maybe that is why we are saddled with such wimps- on another note - escobar out - yea!! - hate him - and about the allstar game why did everyone not leave hamilton alone and let him hit - one more kid or one more time for milton bradley and I would have to punch them myself!!!
