It all starts tonight with Charlie Morton! His start tonight is going to determine the outcome of this NL East battle. If (and when) he gets off to a good start (as he has in 2 of his 3 starts) the Braves will be bringing out the brooms on the struggling Phils (2-8 in last 10)! Campillo will stay hot and down Adam Eaton, and should be All-Star Jurrjens should have no problems with starter turned closer turned starter Brett "I beat my wife" Myers. Once again... look for Morton to set the tone this evening with a strong 7 inning performance. Hand the ball to Ohman, who will hand the ball to Gonzalez! The Braves are only 4 back, and need to use this series as a huge momentum builder going into the All-Star break. Oh yeah... it's about time to give Jordan Schaffer his shot. Game over! The Pro

Love the card - lets get some more young guys out there - with all the new players in the field and on the mound lets go braves!!! Yeah give Schaffer a shot he's payed his debt - lets get some POP in those bats!!!
Linda, you are right on this one...never doubted your expertise for a sec...
11 games left after the loss tonight, got on the blog late. We need to just win the series. We have 4, 3 game sets. Philly, Houston(at home), and LA, and San Diego, "Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diago, which of course in German means a whale's vagina" (on the road). It is what it is. We need to do whatever it takes to win each series...getting some BIG-MO heading into the 2ng half...
if the battle depended on Morton we are in trouble - yanked in 3 - and Boyer - please - and acosta - please - really - how did we end up with this team - did I go to sleep and wake up in a nightmare - the braves are my team but who are these people???? HELP

All I have to say about this is that when your pitching coach was never taken seriously during his entire career as a pitcher no team is gonna take your pitchers seriously. I have at least 3 Roger Mcdowell cards where he is wearing a lime green clown afro basically looking like a clown so what do we have for a bunch of pitchers? Exactly a bunch of damn clowns...
