A Bay to Bay Mistake?

Reports are saying the Green Bay Packers will trade HOF QB Brett Favre to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as early as today. Umm... Ok? The Buccaneers currently have 5 QB's on the roster:

Jeff Garcia, Luke McCown, Brian Griese, Chris Simms and Josh Johnson

Why on earth would you want to trade for another QB, even it is a future HOF inductee? Keep in mind that Jeff Garcia and Luke McCown lead the Bucs to a 9-7 season last year (more than enough W's in a super weak NFC South conference). I just don't see the point in adding a new QB to a completely different offense than he is accustomed to running. Come think about it, I can easily name 5 QB's that have played over the past 20 years I would consider better than Brett Favre.

Joe Montana, Dan Marino, John Elway, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady (and I did that without even thinking about it)

I think this is a mistake for Tampa Bay and Brett Favre. For Tampa Bay, it's not the direction you want to move in. For Favre, your time has come and gone my friend. Enjoy what health you have left and your money in the bank. The Pro
