I have no ties to GT and there is not a Georgia State football team, so I have no ties to them, yet. I have not been a fan of Georgia since they made a mockery of the game against Florida, really, act like you have been there before, oh wait you haven't, when talking about beating Florida. So, I am explaining why I don't give Georgia there due, but I think my 11-1 prediction is a pretty good due. Maybe I am bias against Georgia and for Oklahoma, but I am also realistic. Oklahoma is going to have to fight and claw to win every game but one this year, and that is Chattanooga. Georgia fans think they have no weaknesses and are only going to struggle with Auburn and LSU, they keep forgetting that the Gators own them. Every game scares me at for Oklahoma. I guess it is just the fact that you haven't been in the National Championship picture since 1980, you forget that when you are at the top, every team is gunning for you and if you are not at 100% you will lose. I guess we will see.... It seems I missed a nice discussion about DJ Shockley, who did by the way ride the bench, I love DJ Shockley, and I wish he could stay with the Falcons, but how do you cut Joey Harrington who has been in Matt Ryan's position and can help him through this difficult transition. Shockley was a poor man's Tebow in his first three years at Georgia, so you can't really talk bad about Tebow and good about Shockley, unless it is opposite day.

I know what you are talking about when you say "when your number 1, everyone is gunning for you and if you are not 100%, you will lose". I'm an LSU fan and thats what happened to us last year. We were stacked and could beat anybody, but then a few people got hurt here and there and the next thing you know we lost two games because of it. When you are #1, the team playing you has nothing to lose and everything to gain, so it makes them play even harder!

News flash, Shockley made the roster, and your 11-1 gangbuster VT and Clemson teams both lost. Way to go on the predictions!!

Dude, I don't have to name the exact team the Chokie Hokies will lose to in order to have an opinion that they are not an 11-1 team, give me a break. I am more objective than you think, which is why I don't make predictions when I honestly don't think they're educated. I never disagreed with anything ya'll said about Harrington having the experience and being a known, etc. as justification for him making the team. I stated my opinion that Shock's intangibles could very well earn him that spot, and I got absolutely trashed for it, like most of the times I post. Well it turns out I was pretty correct. Forgive me if I want to fight back and point out when, golly gee, the UGA homer might actually have some valid thoughts and be right on occasion. You've posted whole strings of blogs to ridicule my comments. Now you're calling me names. Give me a break, I visit your blog, read everything you say, and discuss sports like everyone else. Why the hell would you be so angry at me?
