Tampa Bay Beaches

I know in the past I have said that Rocco Baldelli would help the Rays in the race for the playoffs, but I didn't say that would happen without Carl Crawford. Carl Crawford is a major player on this team and he might be done for the year, best case 2 to 3 weeks, but that is best case, and like with Mike Hampton best case sometimes turns into 2 and half years. Hinske, Upton, Gross, Baldelli, and Zobrist will patrol the outfield, not scared. Also, they have a lot more road games left than home games this last month and half. There is no way Tampa Bay can win without this Ray....
Very disappointing.....

disagree - I think the Rays can and will do it without crawford - only time will tell but we will keep a watch on it - this weekend more people went down in baseball than I have seen in a long time!!!!

The Rays have gotten by on pitching. Losing the only 2 hitters they have will be devastating. Instead of scoring 2-3 runs a game, they will score 0-1. With only a 2 game lead, they are done.
