Lassiter High School in Marietta, Ga has long been know for its dominating baseball teams, but now football might be taking the next step. After spending money on field turf and stadium renovations and additions they are reaping the rewards. Lassiter is now 2-0 on the young season and are still not a powerhouse, but I have always said that if you spend the money on facilities, the players will come, and it looks like Lassiter has taken that approach. Lassiter baseball has the best baseball field by far in the state of Georgia and it is no coincidence that they have a National Championship with two state championships as well as 5 state runner ups. I know it is my school, but I am excited about the commitment they have made to football and facilities.
