I blogged a few months back about the Lassiter Trojans turning the corner in football, well that corner has been turned. The Trojans roll into the playoffs for the first time in 8 years, 4th time in history with an 8-2 record after posting a 3-7 record the previous year. I said that the facility improvements would help, the "if you build it they will come" mentality, but if you bring in a new coach with a winning attitude it will help speed up the process. It will be a tough task this week against Etowah, but the Trojans are on the right track.

Bet those kids are excited they are on ESPN. Wonder what the coach would have said had he thrown the ball to the other team? But thats still heads up ball.
