The Falcons went defense heavy as everyone knew they would. Overall I give Dimitrov a B+ for 2009. I break down my grade by pick below.
Round 1 - Peria Jerry DT - A
Strong and quick. Fills a hole left by Grady Jackson immediately.
Round 2 - William Moore SS - A
I like him "Moore" than most. Hard hitter with 4.5 speed. Should start.
Round 3 - Christopher Owens CB - B-
A bit of a reach in the 3rd but could start in a few years. Good in coverage.
Round 4 - Lawrence Sidbury DE - B+
I'm hoping he pushes Jamaal Anderson to the bench. Great pass rusher.
Round 5 - William Middleton CB - C
Not more than a sub at this point. Athletic and might play in dime packages.
Round 5 - Garrett Reynolds OT - B+
Quality, quality 5th round pick. I expect to see him on the field at some point in 2009.
Round 6 - Spencer Adkins LB - C+
Somewhat of a raw talent at inside or outside LB. Backup at best.
Round 7 - Vance Walker DT - B-
Lucky to get this type of player in the 7th. Could add depth at DT if he makes the team. Good run stopper.

I loved the 1st and 4th picks. J Anderson is a bust, especially considering who is on the other side of the line from him. He's pretty much left alone. I'm hoping for a great year from the Falcons.
